EVENT BRANDING & DESIGN
SoDA Global Member Meeting 2019: Nashville
Every year, SoDA members from around the world come together for three days of inspiration, fellowship and camaraderie. This event rotates annually and has been held in Amsterdam, Montreal, San Diego, Las Vegas, Barcelona, Miami Beach and Lisbon.
The GMM in Nashville, USA was my 6th consecutive year designing SoDA’s annual event. Each year, branding is unique to the host city as I draw from cultural and historical aspects to influence visual elements. For 2019, the design is inspired by guitar strings and the neon lights of Nashville’s famous “Honky Tonk Row” on Broadway street. This city in Tennessee (USA) is known around the world as Music City and is dubbed the capital of country music.

The venue for daily sessions was held at Marathon Music Works, a warehouse style building fashioned inside a former auto factory.
The Program Guide is a printed booklet that includes the detailed agenda, meeting and dinner venues, attendee list, and sponsor pages.
To specify different rooms used during breakout sessions, these Nashville-themed posters were placed in assigned areas making it easier for the crowd to quickly navigate to their chosen topic.
Name badges have variable printing with each color symbolizing a different group of attendees: New organizational members, operations team, board members, returning attendees, and sponsors.
