Life in Between

Ulcerative colitis – Not the most pretty of all book topics. But when someone came to me with a draft of her book, written with heart warming experience, humor, and sometimes terrifyingly gross descriptions, I was happy to take on the design challenge.

Follow the true story of Danielle Eaton as she struggles to combat the dreadful auto-immune disorder, Ulcerative Colitis. She suddenly developed the disease in her early thirties when she was a young mom of two little girls, and an 8th grade Social Studies teacher. If you aren't familiar with it, consider yourself lucky. If you are familiar with it, you know the horrors that it causes on your body, your life, and your mental health.

Over the course of many years, her day-to-day existence revolved around pain and the perils of an auto-immune disease. In this story, you will live those difficult years with her, and understand how hope can carry a person through the darkest hours of their life. Along the way you will meet her family, her doctors, and other medical professionals who walked down this path beside her.

From the brink of death to the top of a mountain, this is a story of a life in between pain and recovery.
