CROSS-CHANNEL CAMPAIGN • ILLUSTRATION

 

For Q3 2025, Discover launched a multi-channel campaign to drive enrollment in targeted Cashback Bonus (CBB) offers. I was responsible for developing the illustrated creative direction, creating a visual system that replaced traditional lifestyle imagery with clean, engaging illustration.

Amazon Ads

Created static Amazon ad variations using playful, summer-forward illustrations to spark curiosity and drive clicks to the My Offers Page. Together with the team’s Art Director and Design Director.

Email

Designed an illustration-forward creative for the Walmart-specific Cashback Bonus offer, aiming to re-engage cardmembers across multiple segments with a seasonal, visually distinct alternative to the standard photo-based emails.

Site Marketing

Developed a cohesive site placement that reminded enrolled cardmembers of their Cashback Bonus offer, visually tying back to the mailer while keeping the message simple and direct.

Direct Mail

Designed a three-panel illustrated self-mailer that guided cardmembers through two activation paths, balancing clear CTA steps with a light, summery feel.

FINAL NOTE

Although this illustrated direction (for paid media, emails, and direct mail) wasn’t ultimately launched, the client was enthusiastic about the fresh visual approach and saw strong potential in using illustration to differentiate future campaigns from the usual photo-driven creative.
